In order to provide an extension of the educational and networking opportunities offered at the annual UDI Conference, a Poster Board Display area will be featured this year at the conference. The intention of the posters will be to showcase how the use of UDI has improved business processes. These posters are to show progressive and innovative UDI-related implementations and pilot programs/activities that highlight how UDI has proven results and benefits in real-world applications.
Participants in the Poster Board area will include: Medical Device Manufacturers, Medical Device Distributors, Group Purchasing Organizations, Providers (hospitals), industry trade organizations and educational institutions. Solution providers (vendors) are not permitted to participate, but are encouraged to exhibit at the event.
Poster board displays provide a lively and engaging opportunity to interact face-to-face, to ask questions, review findings, share information, and exchange concepts for furthering, improving and extending UDI implementation.

Abstracts must be submitted to UDI Conference event management and will be reviewed by program faculty volunteers. The following information must be contained in one single PDF file and sent to: Jane Yallum, email@example.com by March 2, 2018.
All accepted Poster Participants will be sent a Poster Template, but the general outline of the poster should include the following elements:
NOTE: Poster presentation may not be used as a sales or marketing opportunity. The listing of any solution providers/vendors used in a project will be limited to a summary note at the bottom right of the poster and no vendor logos can be used. This will be strictly enforced.
Poster board displays will take place in the Ballroom Foyer area of the 2018 UDI Conference. Authors (end-users ONLY, solution providers will not be permitted to staff poster displays) will be available during the following times to engage in conversations with the attendees:
Tuesday, April 24:
8:00am – 9:00am
1:00pm – 2:00pm
3:30pm – 4:00pm
Wednesday, April 25:
8:30am – 9:30am
11:15am – 11:45am
1:30pm – 2:30pm
All Posters are to be printed in the FedEx Office of the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. All posters will be 36”x48” or 48”x36” printed on foam core. Each poster participant will be responsible for paying $100.00 directly to FedEx to print your poster.
PDF files are to be sent directly to FedEx by April 13th at the following email: USA5602@fedex.com, 410-528-1057. You must also copy Jane Yallum, firstname.lastname@example.org with your final PDF poster art.
UDI Conference Show Management will pick up your poster and have it set-up in the Foyer area for your poster sessions by the morning of April 24th.
If you would like your poster sent back to your office after the Conference, you can coordinate direct shipping with the FedEx office. All shipping expenses are to be assumed by the poster participant and are not the responsibility of event management.
